Rudolf Hirth du Frenes
German, 1846-1916

Studied at the L’Ecole Des Beaux Art de Nuremberg under Kreling; he also studied at the Academie de Munich under A. von Ramberg.  He exhibited in Vienne, Berlin and Munich.  He was influenced by the great artist Courbet et Millet.
